One action. More than one goal.
A run in the forest can be marathon training and time outside. Write what you did; Jev—the AI inside thusfar—suggests the connections and useful details. You choose what to keep.

- Start with a thought. We type “Get fitter.” and call the goal Marathon. Jev’s real wording assessment is 4/100, with a red background. This rates the wording, not the person or their chances of success.
- See what could be clearer. Five animated close-ups stack the real stats: Specific (17/100), Measurable (1/100), Achievable context (0/100), Reason stated (1/100) and Time-bound (1/100). The questions are simple: what, how to measure it, where you’re starting, why it matters and by when. The close-up animation is part of the film, not an extra setup step.
- Give it direction. We rewrite the goal: “Run my first 42.2 km marathon by 20 December 2027 to build endurance. I can already run 5 km; I will train three times a week and track distance and duration.” Jev gives the clearer wording 96/100 and the background turns green. We save it. Green is not a feasibility assessment or a promise of success.
- Log once, connect the dots. “I ran 5 km in 30 minutes. I spent that time outside.” Jev connects the entry to Marathon and Outdoors, with alignment shown beside each goal. We review the connections and choose which measurements to keep before saving.
- See your record. The run appears in the marathon journey. Its measurements are recorded evidence, not a prediction or a claim that the marathon is complete.
- Make room for different goals. For Guitar, we log twenty minutes of chord practice. For Smoke-free, we write “I haven’t smoked today” and review the check-in. An unreported day stays unknown, not a failure.
- Your story, thusfar. We fly back out to the goal clouds. Each goal has its own place in the same journal. The examples are fictional; no personal journal is shown.
Some goals have numbers.
Others just need words.
Describe what you’re working toward, then log the little things you do. A run might add distance and time. Guitar practice might be twenty minutes of chord changes. A smoke-free check-in is a record of your day—not a verdict on you.
Jev helps you find the useful details and see how an action relates to each goal. Review the suggested connections and measurements before saving; look back at your recorded history as it grows.
A few things worth knowing
Can one action belong to several goals?
Yes. Log an action once and Jev checks it against the goals included in discovery. Strong matches can be selected automatically, with alignment shown beside each goal. You review the connections before saving. Alignment describes relevance, not how much of a goal is complete.
What does Jev see, and when?
After you enable live checks, pausing while you type sends your unsaved draft, goal and selected earlier entries through our backend to Jev (TypeSafe AI). Global logging also checks your eligible goals. TypeSafe processes this data in the United States. Watching this video sends nothing to Jev. Read the privacy notice.
Where does my journal live?
Your saved journal lives in this browser. There’s no account or cross-device sync yet, so clearing browser data can remove it. Use Data & backups in the footer to export a copy. On-device storage does not mean that content sent for live checks stays on your device.
Is thusfar free, and do I need an invite?
This early beta is free. Live checks are currently for invited adults; everyone can watch the walkthrough. Email beta@thusfar.me to ask for an invite. There’s no automatic signup or account, and future pricing is not decided.
Watching sends nothing to Jev. Live checks are invite-only during this early beta; your journal stays in this browser.
